The Gauss Mathematics Contests, hosted annually by the University of Waterloo, offer an exciting introduction to math competitions for students in Grades 7 and 8. These contests challenge students with engaging, curriculum-based problems that foster logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

We are proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of our students in recent contests:

• Arthur Liu ranked 1st in his class and 5th in his school, earning a Certificate of Distinction in the 2024 Gauss Contest.

• Nathan Jin ranked 1st in his class and 4th in his school, also receiving a Certificate of Distinction in the 2025 Gauss Contest.

• Aiden Chan achieved a remarkable score of 142 out of 150, placing 1st in both his class and school, and was awarded a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement in the 2025 Gauss Contest.
