Refunds

 

• The $25 registration deposit is non-refundable; however, once you complete the first level, it can be used to deduct from your tuition fee for the next level.

• No refund for used abacus and teaching materials

• For each payment cycle (20 classes), after one teaching unit (4 classes), there will be no refund. If you quit the program within the first teaching unit, you will still be charged for the entire unit.         

• 24-hour notice is required for the cancellation of a class. For every 20 classes, 4 cancellations are permitted without additional charges.

 

Late/Returned Payments

 

Full payment is due on the first class of the program. Late payments /returned cheques are subject to a $25.00 non-refundable service charge.

Class Cancellation & Allowance Policy

​

• 24-Hour Notice Required: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a class. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the missed class will be charged.

• Cancellation Allowance: For every 20 classes, students are allowed up to 4 cancellation allowances without an additional class charge.

• Pre-Planned Extended Absences: For pre-planned absences, the allowance will be counted as follows:

  • 1–3 consecutive weeks absent: counts as 1 allowance class

  • 4–6 consecutive weeks absent: counts as 2 allowance classes

This way, families are not required to use one allowance for every single missed week during a planned extended absence.
