The "2016 Abacus-Mathematics and Mental Arithmetic Competition: Canada" was held at the Taipei Economic Culture Centre on November 20, 2016.

 

Heartfelt thanks to our organizer, the International Abacus Education Research Institute (I.A.E.R.I.), all the teachers and participating students, who made this event a big success!

The students from Markham Abacus achieved remarkable success at the competition. With 10 students entered in the competition, 5 students placed within the top 4 in their level. A special mention goes to Thinegini Kuhanesan who placed first overall in Level 11. We would like to thank and congratulate all the winners and the students who participated.
