Attendance & Missed Class Policy

​The Curriculum Math Program is a structured, group-paced course where students progress through the curriculum together week-by-week. Because lessons build directly on one another, consistent attendance is key to your child's success and confidence in math.

​

To ensure all students stay on track and move forward at the same pace, we observe the following policies for missed classes:

​

1. Standard Absences & On-Demand Recordings

​

• No Class Credits for Standard Absences: We do not offer tuition credits, makeup sessions, or refunds for individual missed classes due to standard illness, routine scheduling conflicts, or short-term absences.

​​

• Catch-Up via On-Demand Recordings: Class recordings are available on demand strictly for students who must miss a class. To encourage active participation and focused engagement during live instruction, recordings are not distributed to students who attended the session.

​​

• Two-Week Recording Access: To encourage students to catch up promptly and avoid falling behind, each recording will be available for two weeks only. Students who miss a class are expected to watch the recording within this two-week period.

​

• Homework & Handouts: The student will still receive all learning materials, handouts, and homework for the missed lesson. We ask that the student watches the on-demand recording and attempts the homework before the next scheduled class so they do not fall behind.

2. Extended Absences & Special Situations (more than 2 consecutive missed classes)

​

• 24-Hour Notice for Credits: For planned, extended absences, such as travel or medical reasons, please notify the school in writing at least 24 hours before the first missed class.

​​

• Tuition Credit & Material Fee: With proper notice and approval, we will gladly issue a tuition credit for the missed class(es). A material fee will still apply to cover the lesson packets, handouts, and homework assignments provided during the student’s absence, so the student can continue to follow the class material and stay up to date.

• No Recording Provided: Because tuition is not being charged for the missed class(es), an on-demand class recording will not be provided for these credited absences.
